I have studied from 3rd to 10th class in Geetha High School,Mombojipally, Medak. The loveliest place that still I remember after my home is my school. Mostly when I was studying in 3,4,5,6 standards I was very silent and rarely I used to interact with my friends and teachers,which I still hate of myself. I was admitted in hostel in 7th standard. Hostel rules were very strict when I joined. But as time passed on(till 10th), they became moderate(not as strict as before) and now I hope that the level may be maintained. As I was in hostel from 7th standard, my friend circle was increased(mostly hostellers and also few dayscholars). In 8th standard we encountered a different kind of principal and his ridiculous rules were imposed during his term of 1 year.
(These ridiculous rules include division of sections separately for boys and girls, students with free hands get punished, so we should keep our hands folded back to avoid getting punished). 9th standard passed away very soon but as we, hostellers had a separate section, we used to enjoy a lot.
But as everyone gives much importance to the SSC board exams, we also gave the same effort( I think more than them but without proper planning).
The only reason that I hate about my school is that they restricted us to play games in entire 10th standard and almost 9th standard too. I am strictly against this and we may not find these type of rules in any schools. One more thing that I would point out is gender bias. I wonder why no boy speaks to a girl and no girl speaks to a boy?
As per statistics our school is one of the top 10 schools in Medak district
